February 2010
Dear Auto & Bike Enthusiasts:
Our big news for 2010 is the welcome addition of Motorcycles to our event. We've wanted to add bikes for years, but have waited
while we ironed out our systems prior to tackling a new venue. Well, we're ready!
Just like cars and trucks, bikes will be judged by an independent 3rd party. Points are awarded in 10 categories for class awards.
Premium winners will have their bike, and info, laser etched into a 12x15 plaque as seen on our awards page. Additionally, the 2010
Best of Show Motorcycle will join our Best of Show vehicle winners on our 2011 t-shirts and poster advertising. One last note on bike
categories: We will gladly add a Trike Class (class 75) if demand requires.
At Central Lake your comfort and enjoyment is our #1 goal. Cars and trucks may park anywhere except areas coned off, and
motorcycles will have a prime, special section just for them. No waiting in line, no overheating, just arrive, park, and register once
you are settled. Registration is open until 10:15 a.m., but we strongly recommend you arrive and come see us no later than 9:30 a.m., if
possible. Are you an early riser? We are too. M-88 is officially closed at 6:00 a.m., and you are welcome to park anytime after that.
We'll start registration at 7:30 a.m. All cars, trucks, and motorcycles in the show are required to register.
Trailer Parking: We have tons of trailer parking at the high school, located 2 blocks from downtown. We'll have an assistant at the
school to help you with questions, and numerous staff members to assist with parking downtown.
If you have any questions, please ask. You are our guest and this day is about you.
Sincerely,
Joel & Kristan Shooks
