Need your classic car or truck painted? When not working on the car shows this is what I do. My preference is complete refinishing on classics from the 60's and 70's, but I've also been known to tackle the antiques. Can do any type of rust repair including floors, torque boxes, et. I'm strictly autobody/refinish oriented. I do not do mechanical work, but can arrange if needed. Rates are $42 per hour. If interested, give me a phone call, or send an email and lets talk about your current project. Joel

Multiple bullet holes, rust, and a steering column
previously removed with a cutting torch.
The 40 in process.
Not finished, but off to the engine builder/drive train
specialist.
This is the best way to refinish an engine. Sandblast
and epoxy prior to giving to the engine builder. After the
engine work I re-epoxied and did final finish.
The engine in my 69 Mach 1 ready for final paint. This is
how I got it back from the builder. I scuffed it up, lightly
applied a coat of epoxy, and refinished. Was previously
sandblasted and epoxied like the flat head to the right.
Talk about Michigan rust! All 4 corners of this engine bay
were cut out and replaced. Here the front passenger side
panel has been removed.
Here's a shot of the above engine bay in 2007. Got a
great deal on rebuild when the car was done and ended
up burning a quart of oil every tank of gas. Engine was
pulled and completely redone by CSR Motorsports in
2007...not the original builder.
The first thing I did in 2003 after returning to MI
was refinish the engine bay in my 65. Turned out
good enough I decided to repaint the car. This
engine was painted in the car. Not optimum...but
can be done.
This photo is prior to epoxy primer. All 4 cab corners
were cut out & welded, new rockers welded in, and all
bullet holes and rust repaired.
Same Cab after welding and sandblasting. This was
right before epoxy primer. Body filler/contouring came
after epoxy primer.
The entire floor pan, and torque boxes were cut out
and replaced. Here the driver's side front and back
pan has been removed.
New floor installed. All welded seams
were ground and sealed.
Our 69 Mach 1. We drive it 4-6 times per
week in the summer.
Original owner K-Code Mustang. Did you keep the car you
bought new when you were 25? Did complete refinish and
interior on this car.
This owner's son didn't understand why dad was having his great
looking 70 Chevelle repainted. Son understood after vehicle was
stripped and refinished:)
Sold this car in 1985 to return to school. Remember
what $7K use to buy? I completely refinished and
redid the interior.
My 65 convertible, and the 2 seen at the top of this page.
Much better than when we started.
All spot welds were drilled out and the new
panels spot welded in factory locations.
Would you pay $550.00 for this? 1940 Ford Pickup Cab
purchase on ebay. It came from a Colorado junkyard.

Here is what's left of the old engine bay
and front cross member.
